Walking from Elterwater
A fine day for a guided walk here in the Lake District.
Today I met with the Thomson family from America and together we enjoyed the beautiful views around Elterwater and Little Langdale.
The route was quiet when we started, and a few rain showers came along to freshen the air and add atmosphere to the skies.
Later more people were around and by the time we arrived back in Elterwater the place was packed out with people enjoying the now glorious afternoon sun.
Lunch at the Britannia Inn was quite a treat, the food in there always being so good.
