Back in 2017 the concept was born in my head. A multi-activity guidebook for the Costa Blanca region to cover the following activities:

• Sport Climbing 
• Trad Climbing 
• Via Ferrata 
• Canyoning 
• Hiking 
• Trail Running 
• Road Cycling 

It's been a long, rocky, but mostly fun road to get from concept to print. Cicerone have been incredibly supportive and helped turn my initial scribbles into legible writing that makes sense. All 278 pages of it.

Why bother writing a guidebook?

There are good walking and climbing guides covering this region. This is true, Cicerone and Rockfax amongst others have got some things covered. It's the void I was looking to fill. Try finding reliable information about the Benicadell ridge for example.....good luck! And the region is teaming with amazing ridges, really cool via ferrata, fun canyon trips, and world class road cycling. The hiking is well covered by Terry Fletcher in his Cicerone guide and the sport climbing by Chris Craggs & Alan

James in their Rockfax guide. But how about some mountain trad climbing, big ridge days, or mountain running? Well it's all here and plenty more in this fabulous new publication.
