Scout Crags Langdale
These rock outcrops are perched on the hillside just prior to reaching The New Dungeon Ghyll - this means they are super convenient and so easy to reach.
Warm, dry conditions have returned to the Lake District, just in time for Jayne's rock climbing adventure this afternoon. Having climbed quite a few times before and now wanting something more, we opted for the longer climbs at Upper Scout crags in Langdale.
We ticked routes 1 & 2 with a total of 7 pitches climbed, Jayne flying up all of it and dealing with removing gear, belays, and more all in her stride, nice one.
The crag was busy today, no doubt many were, have to make the most of the sunshine.
