Gorge Walking near Ambleside - Stickle Ghyll
This weekend we were back in Stickle Ghyll, Langdale for fun filled morning of Gorge Scrambling.
As part of her birthday celebrations, Linda wanted to introduce family and friends to this amazing activity and brought along 17 willing folk for the initiation.
Yes there was a small amount of trepidation by some at the beginning, but this didn't last and soon everyone was in the water, getting wet in the waterfalls, swimming, and having an awesome time.
The sun shone the whole time too, so whilst there was a slight chill in the air, the sun counteracted this well and it felt positively warm-ish!
