All kitted up and ready to Abseil
Returning clients Cardinal Maritime were out with us enjoying the wonderful weather yesterday. Great to welcome you back and meet more of the team.
In order to keep travelling time to a minimum for the Manchester/Stockport based team, we ran this team building day at Windgather Rocks in the Peak District.
Like so many others, Windgather was the first place I ever tried Rock Climbing. It's a perfect introductory venue, being easily accessible, roadside, relatively short climbs on excellent rock, and stunning views. It has been a pleasure to now introduce others to this amazing sport at the same venue.
Due to the sun not being on the crag when we arrived in the morning, we decided to Abseil first so everyone could enjoy being in the sunshine. There was a strong team spirit evident, this really helps when trying activities like this for the first time, keeps nerves in check and enjoyment levels high.
After lunch at the nearby pub, the team returned for more, this time Rock climbing. Some managed as much as 6 climbs, whilst others cheered them on from their sunbathing patches 😉
