Lake District Abseiling - Hodge Close Quarry

This morning we were Abseiling at Hodge Close quarry with Tony & Christine from Newcastle.
Both were first time abseilers, but confident and willing to have a go. Both cruised over the edge onto the vertical wall into the quarry. Tony later went on to have a few jumps on his way down, nice one.
Conditions were pretty perfect today, with dry rock, calm weather, and great views.

Abseiling is a fun activity and we can offer it at a range of venues throughout the Lake District.
