Ghyll Scrambling Stickle Ghyll
Today I was saved from an all-day admin session by the Haigh family from Warrington. Their initial plan was to try out Abseiling. However this changed to Gorge scrambling and a plan was hatched. A couple of hours later we were all in Stickle Ghyll, Langdale.
Water levels were near perfect, with a good flow, but not too high. We could swim, climb waterfalls, jump into plunge pools, and generally have a whole load of fun. Everyone climbed the massive waterfall to finish the afternoon.
With barely any breeze and continually brightening skies, it was pretty warm in there too.
All in all, a lovely afternoon.
